Routine visits include chemicals. If your water needs a dose of sanitizer or an alkalinity adjustment, we add it and the price does not change. That holds whether the tub needs a little or a lot. Everything else on this list — the drain and refill, deep cleaning, repair — bills chemicals, materials, and parts at what they cost us.

What a routine visit includes

Whether it is a hot tub at $75 or a pool at $110, the routine visit covers the same list. The pool visit takes longer because there is more water and more surface to deal with.

  • Testing and balancing the five major water factors: chlorine (sanitizer), pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and cyanuric acid (stabilizer)
  • Verifying mechanical operation of pumps, jets, and intake returns
  • Removing all debris
  • Clearing and correctly positioning covers and tops

We test calcium hardness on every visit and adjust to spec. In the Salt Lake Valley that matters more than most places, because fill water here runs hard and gets harder in late summer when the city supplements from wells.

Why some things have a price and some things need a quote

Fixed price, book it online

Routine maintenance and a drain, clean, and refill are the same job every time. We know how long they take, so we can put a number on them and let you book a slot and pay up front without talking to anyone.

A drain and refill is $275 flat. That covers emptying the tub, cleaning the shell while it is dry, refilling it, and balancing the fresh water. It takes one to two hours. Having a hose bib close to the tub makes it faster.

Hourly or quoted, contact us first

Deep cleaning and repair are billed at $65 per hour because we cannot know how long they will take until we see the tub. A heater that will not fire might be a loose connection or a dead element. We would rather look at it than guess a price and be wrong.

Installation gets a written quote after a site visit. Where the tub sits, what power is available, and how it gets into the yard all change the job.

We also sell hot tubs, installed. That is priced tub by tub. Contact us and we will set up a site visit.

What it adds up to

A hot tub on a visit every two weeks is $150 a month, chemicals included. Weekly is $300. A pool on weekly service is $440 a month for four visits. There is no contract and no minimum. Book the visits you want.
