Mountain Hot Tubs & Pools

About Mountain Hot Tubs & Pools

A small hot tub and pool crew based in Millcreek, working the Salt Lake Valley on Thursdays and Fridays.

Mountain Hot Tubs & Pools is a locally owned service company. We are based in Millcreek, in the middle of the area we serve. The technicians who run the valley routes live here. Our Park City technician lives in Park City and takes the Park City jobs, so nobody is driving over the pass to reach a tub.

We do routine water care for hot tubs, swim spas, and pools. We drain and refill. We deep clean tubs that have been let go. We repair pumps, heaters, jets, and controls. We sell and install hot tubs, including tubs bought elsewhere. That is the whole list. If you ask for something that is not on it, we will say so.

Certified Pool & Spa Operators

We are Certified Pool & Spa Operators, certified through the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance. It is the standard credential for people who manage pool and spa water professionally, and it covers water chemistry, sanitation, filtration, and the equipment that makes all of it work. Plenty of spa outfits in Utah do not hold it at all.

Why we publish prices

Almost nobody in this business puts a number on their website. We do, because a routine visit is the same job every time and there is no reason to make you ask. A hot tub visit is $75. A pool visit is $110. Both include the chemicals your water needs. A drain, clean, and refill is $275 plus chemicals and materials at cost. Repairs are hourly because we will not guess at a broken heater over the phone.

What a visit looks like

The technician tests the five things that decide whether your water is safe and comfortable: sanitizer, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and stabilizer. They adjust whatever is off. They run the pumps and jets and check the intakes. They clear leaves and grit, wipe down what needs it, and put the cover back on square. If something looks wrong with the equipment, you hear about it before anyone touches it.

We test calcium hardness every time because it matters here. Salt Lake Valley fill water runs hard, and it gets harder in late summer when the city leans on wells. A tub filled in April and a tub filled in August start from different places, and the only way to know where yours is at is to test it.

Thursdays and Fridays

We run hot tub and pool routes two days a week right now. That is honest capacity for a small crew, and it happens to line up with getting a tub ready for the weekend. Every booking is looked at by a person before it goes on the route, which keeps us from overbooking a day and letting someone down. As the schedule fills, we will add days.
