Who we are
Mountain Hot Tubs & Pools is a hot tub and pool service company based in Millcreek, Utah. If you have a question about anything on this page, email mountainhtp@gmail.com or call 435-640-6251.
What we collect and why
Contact form. When you send a message we receive your name, phone number, email, the service address, what you asked about, and your message. We use it to answer you and, if you become a customer, to do the work. The form is delivered by a third-party form service that passes the message to our email.
Online booking. Booking and payment run through Square Appointments. Square collects your name, contact details, the service address, answers to a few intake questions (things like gate codes and whether there are pets), and your payment card. We see the booking details and the fact that payment went through. We never see or store your full card number. Square's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they look at, and whether they tap the phone number or the booking button. This uses cookies. It tells us that a visit happened, not who you are. You can block these cookies in your browser and the site will work the same.
Phone and email. If you call, text, or email us, we keep the message so we can follow up and so the technician knows the history of your tub.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information to anyone.
- We do not share it with anyone except the services that make the website work: the form provider, Square for booking and payment, and Google for analytics.
- We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
How long we keep it
Customer records, including service addresses and notes about your tub or pool, are kept for as long as you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterward for bookkeeping. Messages that do not lead to work are deleted when they are no longer useful. Ask and we will delete what we hold on you, subject to what we are required to keep for tax records.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call and we will handle it. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top changes with it. We will not make a change that lets us do more with your information without saying so here first.
