Mountain Hot Tubs & Pools

Terms of service

Last updated 2026-10-08. These apply when you book, pay for, or receive service from Mountain Hot Tubs & Pools.

Services and pricing

Prices for routine visits and drain, clean, and refill service are published on the pricing page. Routine hot tub, pool, and swim spa visits include the chemicals the water needs at that visit, with no additional charge regardless of how much it takes. Drain, clean, and refill service excludes chemicals and materials, which are billed at cost in addition to the service price. Repair, deep cleaning, and installation are billed hourly or by written quote, with parts and materials at cost, and we will not start work that goes beyond what you agreed to without checking with you first.

Booking and payment

Online bookings are handled through Square Appointments. Payment for a routine visit or a drain, clean, and refill is taken when you book. Every booking is a request until we accept it. We review each one and confirm by email or text. If we cannot take the appointment, we decline it and you receive a full refund.

We work Thursdays and Fridays. Bookings need at least 48 hours notice so we can plan the route.

Cancellation and refunds

If you need to cancel or move a prepaid appointment:

  • 48 hours or more before the appointment: cancel or reschedule free. Full refund if you cancel.
  • Between 24 and 48 hours before: 50% refund, or reschedule with no charge if we can fit you in.
  • Under 24 hours: no refund. This is a late cancellation, and it applies whether you tell us or not.
  • If we cancel because of weather, equipment, or illness, you choose a full refund or a free reschedule.

A prepaid visit we cannot perform because we cannot get to the tub or pool counts as a late cancellation. That includes a locked gate we were not told about, a dog that will not let us in the yard, or no water source for a refill. Tell us about access when you book and this will not come up.

Access and safety

You agree to give us safe access to the tub or pool at the booked time. Secure pets, leave gates unlocked or give us the code, and make sure power and water are on. If a technician finds a condition that makes the work unsafe, such as exposed wiring or a damaged cover that cannot be lifted safely, we will stop and talk to you before continuing.

What we are responsible for

We do the work described in the service you booked, with reasonable care, using the methods a trained pool and spa operator would use. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or equipment failures we did not cause, and we will tell you about any we notice. Water chemistry results depend on how the tub is used between visits, so we cannot guarantee that water stays balanced after we leave.

Repairs and parts

Repair work is diagnosed on site and billed at the published hourly rate plus parts. We will give you an estimate before replacing any part. If a repair reveals a bigger problem, we stop and tell you what we found before going further.
